This year the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum wants to help take your Outdoor School programs to Kilchis Point for science, local history, and cultural lessons (all for free!).  Kilchis Point is the location of early settlement in Tillamook County...

_Camp Songs are great because they require very little musical ability and are downright fun, just act goofy and the students will love it!  We have provided some lyrics to well known camp songs...
 
 
At Twin Rocks Friends Camp students study living sand dollars from a touch pool, then study a sand dollar test and break it to reveal the doves (teeth) inside.  Finally they place the doves in a necklace to take home.

 
 
Students will practice walking like a black bear, then draw diagrams of various walking gaits...
 
 
These documents were created to set up a one room museum with mammal resources placed around the room.  Students trickle through the exhibit a cabin group at a time filling out the worksheet provided...
 
 
_Students will study first hand mammals’ tracks, paws / hooves, mandible structure, and furs while focusing on what characteristics make each animal uniquely able to fill its niche in the environment....

 
 
Our partner camps have high ropes course elements and challenge course elements.  High Ropes and Challenge Course elements can be great fun and team building activities...
