A FREE event sponsored by Twin Rocks Friends Camp in
cooperation with First Class Homeschool Ministries.

Who: For Homeschooling Families in the Pacific Northwest.
When: Thursday May 3, 2012
Cost: FREE!

Are you looking for an academically challenging, fun filled, free event for your homeschooling family? At Twin Rocks Friends Camp your family will have the opportunity to go boating, hiking, or mini-golfing, create craft projects, build sandcastles, and practice archery. A wide range of academic activities for all ages will also be available. Possibilities include the study of marine life, plants, birds, water, trees, and much more.

Schedule: May 3, 2012

12:30-1:00pm: Arrive at Twin Rocks Friends Camp (Get Directions Here)
1:00-1:25pm: Welcome and Announcements (Porch of Macy Chapel)
1:30-5:00pm: Activity Rotations
5:00-5:30pm: Final Announcements (Porch of Macy Chapel)
5:30pm: Depart

Is food and lodging available for Homeschool Day at the Beach?

Twin Rocks Friends Camp can't provide food or housing for this event, but if you are coming from a distance consider bringing an RV or tent and camping at Barview Jetty County Campground one mile down the road: http://www.co.tillamook.or.us/gov/parks/Documents/Barview%20Jetty%20County%20Campground.pdf

Are you ready to spend a week exploring creation with your family and friends on the Oregon Coast? Outdoor School at Twin Rocks Friends Camp offers opportunities to venture into nature as you never have before. Standards based lessons with topics including shark dissections, mammal studies, survival skills, and local history will capture the curiosity of students and adults alike.

A Word to Parents
Consider attending outdoor school with your child; or bring your entire family. At outdoor school we’ll even provide classes for parents and time to unwind, relax, and recharge each day. Attend workshops led by Heidi and Jay St. John, founders of First Class Homeschool Ministries. Heidi has also written several books including The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Romance and The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Daylight.
